As promised, here are the older columns from days gone by.

Even though it feels as if I’ve been at this forever, there aren’t that many columns.

This journey began in September 2010 at RedState.com because I simply wanted to try and wake up people to what was coming.

In the beginning, the colu…… I can’t use “in the beginning”.  ‘Somebody else’ did a while back.  ;)

The columns initially took form in several very long offerings.  The initial “Books” as I called them the were done about every ten days to two weeks, or until the string of posts became way too long for proper reading by anyone, especially me.

After several of those entries, I had to take a break from everything when my Mom passed.  Too much of too much was going on, plus I was unemployed and looking for a gig.  PS…… At the time of this writing, I’m still a victim of Obamanomics, but there’s ‘hope for change’ on the horizon.

Re-started the updates late January 2011, when le merde really began to encounter le ventilateur in an increasingly exponential manner.  But still, doing this daily wasn’t something I was considering until events ramped up to Tunisia imploding, then Lebanon and Egypt, which brings us to the here and now.

On an ‘I have to look at myself in the mirror’ way of handling things, any editing done to the columns within this ‘back in the day’ area are only for proper re-directs to news links and any minor cleanup of structure – centering images, correctly block-quoting items and the like.  Content is untouched.

Commentary posts from readers at the time of original publication are not included.  Wouldn’t be proper to do that.

My own highly charged commentaries are not edited either, even if I notice a spelling mistake made.  I say what I mean, mean what I say and offer no apologies to anyone for any of it.

That being said, there are – if my math is correct and I suck at math – there are 23 Israel Survival Updates to be placed here.  The’ll go up in reverse order – the newest first – with clear indication of the date originally published.

Again, please bear with me, as this is going to take a bit of time and getting used to in order to have each of the archives placed properly.  The entire set will not be up in just one day.

So to place my official seal here, crossing the “i’s” and dotting the “t’s” in this section’s introduction, I’ll pop in the words of the opening of the column from 16 February 2011: Just sit right back and I’ll tell the tale, a tale of a fateful trip, that started on my laptop here, aboard the web search ship……

Best to grab a nice beverage and a snack first though.  You might be at this for a bit of time.
